Where In the World Is Giann Hoosier?

Hi! Greetings from another planet!!

Where in the WORLD have I been you might ask? Well, I have been all over the 'Ham serving, teaching, loving, and witnessing to kids. I have loved every minute of it!! I planned on doing a post for you last weekend but since it was my birthday, I decided not to. (I know, mean, right?)

Anyway, I will update you as soon as possible on what I have been doing these past couple of weeks so stay tuned!!!

16 (Sixteen) Candles

Can you hear the song? "Sixteen candles make a lovely life....." or "I am sixteen going on seventeen....".
(I love both of those songs! )

For my birthday, instead of a cake, I had a slice of cheesecake from the Cheese*cake Factory! It was called "Chocolate Tuxedo". YUM!!!

My mom and dad also got pictures out from all the year leading up to my sixteenth.  My favorite picture would probably have to be this one......

For my birthday I got unlimited texting on my phone, this shirt, and a new lens for my camera!
I finished the day by watching 'Penelope' and 'Food Boy'!

I really enjoyed a day of just relaxing! haha

Update on CEF!!! (with pictures!)

Wow. As I type this there is only one more week left of CEF: Summer 2010. Next Friday, I will say goodbye to the drivers, the CEFer's, and the kids we taught until next year! :(

Anyway, I just wanted to give you an update and show you some pictures of my work!

I Loved that week of CEF!! Actually, I love EVERY week of it!

Anyway, I had all the CEF girls, minus 2, spend the night at my house for my birthday.
(the other two girls couldn't make it. :( )

Fourth of July Fun!

On July 3rd, we went to go view fireworks in our little city with some friends. 

Then on the 4th we had two families over...

We shucked corn..
